The Schedule Committee also suggesetd a prize for the best selection of vegetables from a private garden. Both recommendations were endorsed by the. full Executive. Some discussion then took place regarding the addition of a poultry and bird section to this year's Show. Messrs. Nelson and Condon submitted figures and the conditions under which a bird section could be added in accordance with the rules of the Poultry, Bird and Pet Association of New Zealand, and it was decided to write for further particulars before taking action.
