EMPRESS THEATRE
TO-NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY. A double feature is to be screened at the Empress Theatre to-night and Wednesday. "Tom- Sawyer," with Jackie Coogan and Mitze Cooper in the principal roles, is a story of youth from Mark Twain's pen that needs no introduction. Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, in their first fulllength picture, "Pardon Us," are starred as two erstwhile bootleggers who try to sell their wares to a policeman with hilarious results.
