MOTOR OVER BANK
BOULDER ON ROAD STRUCK. OCCUPANTS SLIGHTLY INJURED. V A motor-car, driven by Mr. McLean, struck a large stone embedded in the road formation between Kinohaku and Kawhia on Saturday evening. The car skidded over a steep embankment and, although the vehicle somersaulted down the incline for a distance of about 70ft., the occupants escaped without serious injury. Mr. McLean and a companion, however, were taken to the Kawhia cottage hospital, where their wounds, which were caused principally by broken glass, were treated.
