Mr. H. T. Morton left by aeroplane for Wellington this morning. He expects to return to Te Kuiti by air on Monday.
A Press Association message from Sydney states that Sir Alfred Meeks, chairman of the Australian Mutual Provident Society and a Legislative Councillor, is seriously ill.
