A FEW HINTS.

Radiator hoses should' be removed before they start rotting. If allowed to deteriorate, particles of rubber and fibre work their way into the radiator core, thereby slowing up circulation and causing the car to overheat.

Don't use the choke except to start the motor. If used otherwise, raw gas enters the crank case via the cylinder walls, removing the oil film.

Water frequently reaches the brake linings, and until it is dried out the brakes will not function properly.

Popping back, or spitting of the carburetter, is usually a result of lean mixture. However, the trouble some times can be traced to preignition.

A lost front hub cap should be replaced at once. The front cap protects the front wheel bearings and keeps them lubricated. If not replaced, dirt and grit may reach the bearings, causing them to become dry and damaged.

Noisy valves may not sound pleasant, but there is much less danger of damaging them by burning or warping if a little extra clearance is allowed.
