The Huntly town district will assume its status as a borough on Sunday. Members of the HuntlyTown Board' will meet on Monday evening to take over the affairs of the borough and make preparations for the electoral roll. An election to fill the offices of Mayor and councillors will be held in March, but the present town board members will control the administration until the election takes place.
