THE SHEARERS' STRIKE.
MEN RESUME WORK. (Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 10.30 a.m.) Brisbane, this day. The police visited the strikers’ camp at Emerald and searched for firearms. The striking, shearers were ordered to disband and most of them returned home. The police also ordered the release of two men held prisoners by strikers. Various meetings, by a two to one majority, favoured declaring the strike off, and shearing has commenced at several stations. i
