Lady Houston has telephoned the Pi’ime Minister, Mr. Ramsay MacDonald, guaranteeing the £IOO,OOO necessary for Britain’s participation in the Schneider Cup competition.
(Lady Houston is the widow of Sir Robert P. Houston, at one time head of the Houston lines of steamers, and a millionaire.)
