SLAVES RELEASED
BY ITALIAN TROOPS. HELD BY DEFEATED TRIBESMEN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) (Received 2.21 p.m.) Rome, January 30. Italian troops occupying the Kufra oasis, t found 900 slaves belonging to the defeated tribesmen. The oasis is a halting place for slave caravans. Two thousand slaves were sold there last year to Egyptian and Abyssinian. merchants.
