Schools, churches, military societies, and social"welfare groups have been organised. Most influential of all the colony’s institutions, perhaps, is the Gallipoli Union, formed of veterans of the Wrangel army, the last White Russian army unit. General Koutiepoff, the military leader who mysteriously disappeared several months ago, was the acknowledged leader of the antiCommunist military organisation in Paris.
