SELECTION BOARD MEETS. TO RECOMMEND APPOINTMENT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Wellington, this day. A meeting of the Central Selection Board for the Colonial Office, of which the Governor-General* is the chairman, was held in Government House on Wednesday for the purpose of considering applications of graduates of the New Zealand University for appointment to the British Crown Colonies and Protectorates which are under the control of His Majesty's Government of the United Kingdom. Of the nine who presented themselves, four were selected for recommendation to the Secretary of State for the Colonies, with whom a final decision rests.
