CONFIRMATION.
ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCHES. Bishop Liston, coadjutor bishop of Auckland, visited the district during the week-end and performed confirmation ceremonies in the Te Kuiti Church on Sunday evening and at Otorohanga in the morning, also at Waitanguru yesterday. Thirty candidates were confirmed at Te Kuiti.
The bishop, accompanied by the Rev. Father Hunt also visited Mangaotaki and Pio Pio yesterday afternoon, returning to Auckland last night by the Limited express.
