GUY FAWKES.
CELEBRATIONS TO-NIGHT. Small boys have everything in readiness for Guy Fawkes' celebrations this evening. Material has been prepared for bonfires at numerous points around the town, and provided the rain keeps off, conditions should be favourable for fireworks displays and the burning of the effigy. A deal of fireworks has been purchased and celebrations will be carried out locally with the usual enthusiasm.
