Peshawar reports state that Habibullah was executed by Southern province tribesmen, who dragged H'abibullah and his companions from the fort, threw them intb a moat, and then shot them. '
(Habibullah, son of a herdsman, and himself leader of a gang of bandits, defeated King Amanullah, and proclaimed himself king. Habibullah was afterwards defeated by General Shah Wali Khan, and fled to the mountains, where he was captured.
