TE KUITI DISTRICT DENTAL CLINIC.
It ma*y interest readers and particularly parents to know that returns handed in to the Dental Clinic Committee by Nurse Chambers, show that she has to 31st October performed 1919 operations, an average of 70 per week . So far the schools dealt with are: Te Kuiti, Pio Pio, Mangiapeehi, Waitanguru, Mahoenui, Aria, Mairoa, and Mangataki. The committee has been trying to secure free railway passes for children from adjacent schools attending the clinic at Te Kuiti, but so far without success. Needless to say the services of the Nurse are being more and more appreciated, and parents who notice defective teeth in their children are recommended to communicate with her.
