SCHOOL DENTAL CLINIC.

RESULT OF REGENT FAIR. CREDITABLE SUM RAISED. The very creditable amount of £lls 4s 7d was realised as the result of the recent fair at the local school for the purpose of raising funds for the dental clinic. The responders to the committee's efforts are to be congratulated, as also is the committee itself, on the result achieved, and by which it will mean that the erection of the new clinic is now an established fact, the requisite amount having been raised. The total funds in hand, including, the sum of £26 8s 8d from local bodies and other benefits, is £139 3s 3d. |

At a meeting of the : ,f air committee, held on Monday night, the balance sheet in connection with the fair was received. Out of the. amount realised, expenses £2 10s were in-, curred. The school's share—£93 6s 8d —-has been forwarded: to the Auckland Education Board, and this will carry a £2 for £1 subsidy, which will make up the required amount for the building of the clinic..,--The balance of the sum raised held for extras for the clinic; '^-^ ----*\ ; |
