CAR OVER BANK.
OCCUPANTS’ NARROW ESCAPE. While a car containing five young men from Stratford was approaching Te Kuiti just after leaving Pio Pio last evening, the car in attempting to pass another skidded in some loose metal and went over, a bank. A young man named Mclnnis received injuries to his knee, and was attended by Dr. Hill, of Pio Pio. He was able to proceed on his jouimey to-day. The car fell hood downwards, the hood and top section of the car being extensively damaged. The occupants had a narrow escape from more serpous injury.
