CROQUET.
CAMBRIDGE v. TE KUITI. A most delightful day was spent on the local croquet lawns on Thursday. when a team of “A.” players from the Domain Club, Cambridge, played Te Kuiti for tlio South Auckland “stars” (two rounds of doubles). The games were evenly contested, but Domain proved victorious, winning; five games out of six. The following are the results of the games, Te Kuiti ladies being mentioned first:— - Mesdames McKenzie and Browne, 20 —26, v. Martin and Gane, 26—21; Mesdames Evans and Blackman, 19— 19, v. Rutter and Vause, 26—26; Mesdames Toasdale and Holali, 18—21, v. Pearse and Simpson, 26—26. The thanks of the committee are extended to all members who lie'ped to make the day a success.
