This week’s issue of the N.Z. Sporting and Dramatic .Review stands unrivalled for variety and general excellence. There is a generous supply of photographs devoted to the Whangaroi Racing Club’s meeting and the Rangitikei Racing Club’s annual fixture depicting thrilling finishes. The Thames Trotting Club’s gathering af Parewai is also represented in an excellent series. Keen notice will be taken of the illustrations of the King’s College sports at Middle mo re showing the contestants in spirited races and hurdle jumps. A page of individual photos of the New Zealand cricket team and a series showing their departure will he much appreciated. Picturesque views appear of the Manukau Yachti Club’s regatta. The centre pages include animated photos of London topical subjects. Stage and motion picture sections have a brilliant showing, while a page of fashion will make a strong feminine appeal. In the miscellaneous division appears: National Rifle meeting at Trentham, steeplechasing at Eton, women’s cross country championship, etc.
