OPENING OF THE SCHOOLS.
MAJORITY ON THE 15TH INST.
WAITOMO TO REMAIN CLOSED
Cabinet has approved of the following release from restrictions on the opening of schools:—Secondary departments of district high schools, technical high schools and public and private secondary schools, excluding preparatory departments below Form 111., may be re-opened on April 15, except those in the following counties: Waikato,, Raglan, Piako, Matamata, Otorohanga, Rotorua, Waipa, Taupo, Taumarunui, Kawhia, Waitomo, Ohura, Kaiteke, Hawke's Bay, Wairoa, Cook and Waiapu. Where schools are re-opened attendance will not be compulsory until further notice for either primary or secondary pupils.
