TROUBLESOME TRIBESMEN.

The Akhwan tribes, who are followers of Ibnsaud, recently made several raids on the Iraq tribes, 70 miles south-west of Hasiriyah. Aeroplanes from Baghdad located the raiders, whom they bombed and fired on With machine-guns. The High Commissioner sent a strong Note to Ibnsaud declaring that the raids must cease and all loot be returned, and threatening severe punishment to future raiders.
