MAIN TRUNK SERVICE.
NO DAYLIGHT EXPRESS. IN NEW TTME-TABLE. The time-table issued by the Railway Department., which is to come into force* on the 14th inst.. makes no mention of the daylight express which it was rumoured was to be inaugurated. The time-table as issued will operate ■until further notice, but it is not known whether a change will be made later on.
The limited "express" will leave Auckland at 7.10 p.m., making no stop at Te Kuiti, and arriving Wellington at 9.31 a.m. A. second express will leave Auckland at 7.45 p.m., observing the usual stopping places as by the express which was running prior to December last year. This train will arrive at Te Kuiti at 12.4 a.m., departing at 1.2.9 a.m. On the north journey the "limited" leaves Wellington at 7.10 p.m., arrivesTaitinarunui at 3.53 a.m.. Frankton Junction G. 47. Auckland 9.26 a.m. The ord.ir.ary express from Wellington leaves there at 12.45 p.m., arrives To Kuiti 2.0 a.m., departing 2.10 a.m., reaching Auckland at G. 38 a.m.
