THE RULING PASSION

George Arliss, one of the most distinguished actors on the English stage, and who will be remembered for his magnificent study in “Disraeli,” offers as his latest screen achievement “The Ruling Passion.” This is a story of an elderly business man who, after having made a fortune, is told by his doctors that he must rest—no smoking, no drinking; in fact, the order of “the quiet life.” But the business fever of his early career breaks out afresh, and we see him taking shares in a small motor business just for the love of fighting his battles o’er again. This feature will be screened to-night and on Wednesday. Harold Lloyd in his latest comedy and Pa,the English Gazette will also be shown.
