(Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 10.43 a.m.) London, January 15
There was an extraordinary series of raids on leading doctors' houses in Dublin on Saturday night. Armed men visited Dr McCauley's home and declined to accept an assurance that he was absent. They searched the house and said they would return every night untjl McCauley appeared. Later they repeated the visit and searched exhaustively, smashed the telephone, tore the knocker from the door, and then visited McCauley's brother's house. When told he was absent they became excited and ordered tho servants into the basement. They searched tho house, stealing jewellery valued at £IOO, and damaging much furniture. '
They said it was a, good job for the doctor that he was absent. Aimer men visited Dr Brennan's house at Black Rock. In the absence of the owner they searched the house and damaged the furniture.
