ERROL STREET CULVERT.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —I have no intention of entering into any controversy with Mr Blackman. The fact -if it is a fact —that the job cost less than £lO, is no justification for throwing even that amount away at the present time—or, in fact, at any time. In reference to his tirade of ridiculous would-be sarcasm, no comment is needed. And why take exception to a nom-dc-plumc, seeing that the only way he got common sense into his outburst was by appropriating that of a recent correspondent. All Mr Blackman’s abuse will not alter the fact that the job is a bungle.—l am, etc., UNINSURED.
