On Friday afternoon, two presentations were made to Mis? Goldawortby. who was leaving Te Kuiti to join tbe staff of the Ellerslie school. Mr Teesdale, the actingbeadmaater, voiced th* feeling of tbe children of Standard IV, with whom Miss Goldsworthy baa been cbiefiy associated, in expressing regret that she was leaving tbe school, and sincere good wishes for ber success and happiness in her new work. He then called on Lucie Kerr, who, on behalf of the class, presented Miss Goldsworthy with a handsome silver vase, in token of the good wishes of the children. Tbe members of tbe staff also entertained Miss Goldsworthy at afternoon tea, and the headmaster expressed the sorrow of all tbe staff at the departure from tbe school of a colleague whose personality bad endeared her to everyone. He presented Miss Goldsworthy with a silver trinket bos, as a small token of appreciation from tbe members of the staff with whom sbe bas been associated during tbe past year.
