NOTICE is hereby gWen that at a ■y special meeting* of the Awakino County Council held at Pio Pio on Saturday the 21st day of September, 1918, the following special resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the said Council to be held on WEDNESDAY, the 27th day of November, 1918, at 2 p. in. at the Council Chambers at Pio /Pio. RESOLUTION. A.— That By-law^No, 12 of the By-laws of the saicP* Council made and passed on the 6th day of March, 1915, and confirmed on the 15th day of May, 1915, be repealed, and that the following By-law be substituted therefor:— "12.-—During the months of May, June, July, August, September and October in every year the maximum weight allowed to every pair of wheels, having . ; tyres of the width prescribed to such maximum weight as provided in the said first schedule hereto shall ba decreased so that no person shall during the said months carry or cause to be carried on any vehicle on any road more than fifty per cent, of the aforesaid maximum weight allowed to every pair of wheels as aforesaid." B.—-That the following be enacted as a By-law of the said Council:— "12A.—No person shall engage in Heavy Traffic upon any road under the control of the Council during the months of May, June, July, August and September in every year." A full copy of the said proposed By-laws is deposited at the County Office at Pio Pio and is open to inspection of the public during office hours until such time as th« said Resolution shall have been confirmed.
