Intending exhibitors will be pleased to know that the Waikato.Agricultural and Pastoral Association have just published their 1917 schedule. The show takes place at the Association's grounds at Claudelands, .Hamilton, on Tuesday and Wednesday. November 20th and 21st Entries close on November Ist. Exhibitors will find many changes of interest in the prize list. There has been a revision of classification in keeping with the progress that was made last year, and for the purpose of making them more attractive to exhibitors who present displays best suited to an educational and inspirational show. An effort has been made to Increase prizes in a number of popular classes of live stock. While increases are not large, they forerun large advances in this direction next y«ar. Care has also been taken to carefully revise tbe staff of judgee in all departments, and in some instances the number of judges has been increased. Highly efficient judges mean increased value of awards to those fortunate enough to receive them. Mr Arthur J. Smith, secretary, Hamilton, will furnish prize-lists post free. All unclaimed packets may be had at the Patriotic Shop on Saturday next. The gentlemen members of the Te Kuiti Golf Club have received an invitation from the Otorohanga Club to take part in Borne games on the Otorohanga course on Saturday next. Those' desirous of making the trip are requested to leave their names with the hon. secretary. To-morrow promises to be a gala day for Pio Pio when the residents and farmers from the surrounding district will make their effort to swell the total of the Soldiers' Club Fund. Quite a number of Te Kuitians will attend including the wellknown Te Kuiti Minstrel troup. Mr J. B. Young visited Pio Pio yesterday and reports that judging by the number of donations of stock and goods already to hand, the fund is likely to be largely augmented.
