NEW PRINCIPLE ADVOCATED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. —Copyright Received this day, 9.45 a.m. Sydney, This Day. The railway workers' conference discussed the cost of living. The speakers advocated a new economical principle that the cost of living should not be the basis by which wages were regulated, but that the product of man's labour should be the controlling factor in estimating the amount of Wages paid.
