The council if the Church Association is writing the Bishops of Mombaasa and Uganda express sympathy and support in the position they have taken over the open administration of the Sacrament. The "Spectator" says that if Canon Gore's threat of disruption owing to tha evangelicals giving the Sacrament to Nonconformists proves to De a deliberate view, churchmen will be compelled to admit that they could not remain a Church. The vast maiority of the English laity, even those of High Church tendency, know that if the Church were to be narrowed to the episcopal section. the establishment could not last a day.
