A STRANGE CASE.
[llY TICLEGRAPH. —FB.KSS ASSOCIATION. J Nelson, Thiß Day. Douglas Gibbs was charged with causing a young woman to be affected by chloroform with intent to commit a crime. It waß show accused was in love with the girl and entered her room with a revolver, threatening to shoot himself. Counsel submitted it was more likely Gibbs intended to chloorform himself. Accused Was discharged.
