TE KUITI RACE MEETING.
Arrangements for the forthcoming Te Kuiti races, which take place on February sth, are well in hand. The course is now being put in order, and a number of improvements to fie appointments ore being made. The bird cage is being enlarged and properly fenced off, while additions are also to be mnde to the totalisator building. Efforts are being made to get a special train put on from Auckland on the morning of the races, and this should result in a larger attendance.
An excellent and attractive programme has been prepared, the stakes amounting to over £SOO. Nominations for the various events close on January 9th, and handicaps will appear on January 17th.
