+**+ By Telegraph..—Press Association.—Copyright, DEADLOCK WITH COMMISSIONERS Wellington, Friday. A deputation from tha conference of the Post and Telegraph Officers' Association endeavoured to place before the Commissioners the resolutions telegraphed yesterday. A deadlock occurred. The Public Service Commissioners objected to the delegates' criticism of classification in the service as being an impeachment, and demanded withdrawal of the resolution, which compared the post and telegraph classification with that of the other branches of the Civil Service. The delegates will now report to their various branches.
