A PAINFUL ACCIDENT.
- • • • - - GIRL'S DRESS CATCHES FIRE. Jm- TFXEGRAriI. —PRRSS ASSOCIATION. I Marokopa. This Day. A painful accident, befell Misa Scott, daughter of Mr J. Scott, of Kinohaku, on [Saturday. Miss Scott was talking to her mother beside an | open fire place when her dress caught fire, Miss Scott being severely burnt about the arms and body. The mother was badly burned about the face and hands in extinguishing the flames, which enveloped the unfortunate gii 1. Medical aid was summoned from Kawhia. The girl was in a most exhausted condition from the shock. Dr Jenkins id hopeful the accident will not result fatally.
