PHILHARMONIC SOCIETY.
e A well attended meeting of those interested in the formation of the above Society met at Messrs Thcmpkins and Davis' Room on Friday evening last, when it was unanimously decided to form the Te Kuiti Philharmonic Society. Matters of general interest to the Society were discussed, and it was decided that another meeting be arranged for Wednesday evening next, at Mr Mussens' office to arrange for the carrying out of details. We urge all interested to attend this meeting, -is the town must materially benefit by having a society with such objects in its midst. A vote of thsnks to the chairman and to Messrs Thcmpkins and Davis, for the use of the room closed the meeting.
