TE KUITI ODDFELLOWS' LODGE.
Opening Ceremony.
The movement for the formation of an Oddfellows' Lodge, at Te Kuiti, has been carried through successfully and after Thursday, November 28th, a branch of the Manchester Unity Independent Order of Oddfellows will be an accomplished fact. _ There is already a strong membership, and_ a number of new members will be installed directly a medical examination can be arranged for them. Thursday's will consist of the initiation of new members, and the installation of officers in the various chairs. Arrangements for the ceremony fit in well with the district meeting, which takes place on November 27th, at Auckland. _ The Grand Master from Whangarei will conduct the ceremony, and a large number of visitors are expected from Auckland, including Mr John McLeod, corresponding secretary. A supper will be held after the ceremony, to which visitors will be invited.
