DOG TRIALS

PROVINCIAL TRIALS COMMENCE ON MONDAY. One hundred and sixty-one entries have been received for the Marlbor-ough-Nelson provincial trials, which will be run in conjunction with the Kaikoura Collie Dog Club’s annual trials. The trials will commence on Monday at 9 a.m., and will be held at “Dudley” by permission of the estate of F. J. Monk. Forty-seven entries have been received for the head, back, and hold in ring event, and 30 for the yarding event.
