CROQUET
KAIKOURA CLUB. Six members of the Cashmere Club were passengers on the excursion train yesterday, and they played a match against the Kaikoura Club. Pairs only were played, and Kaikoura won the match by two games to .one. The scores were as follows (Kaikoura players being mentioned first): Mesdames H. B. Lockett and G. IL McMillan 26, Mesdames Dick and Downs 16. Mesdames J. A. Reid and R. Strahl 26, Mesdames Warren and Foster 13. Mesdames AV. Stove and J. P. Smith 9, Mesdames Orchard and Dunstan 26.
