SATISFACTORY VALUES. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd, report that there was a fairly good offering at their sale on August 8, the firm’s contribution being over eight tons, representative of all districts. The demand was sonjewhat irregular, and towards the end of the sale values tended to be weaker. Best grades of winters, which are now in short supply, were eagerly competed for by exporters and furriers. Values on the average were 12d to lad per lb dearer. Spotted skins, outgoings and springs, were dull of sale and were cheaper by 9d to 12d per lb. The low grades were 3d to 6d per lb easier. The factory sorts the firm submitted were well got up and brought satisfactory prices. The offical range of prices were as follows:
