KAIKOURA DAIRY CO.
MEETING OF DIRECTORS. The nymthly meeting of directors of the Kaikoura Co-operative Dairy Company took place on August 4, those in attendance being Messrs P. S. Humin (chairman), J. J. Mackie, H. F. Mackie, H. E. Mackie, and H. Harris. Apologies were received for the absence of Messrs J. J. Harnett, G. Boyd, J. Schroder and W. H. Dalzell. The manager (Mr J. S. Aitken), in his report for July, stated that the quantity of butter manufactured for the month was 1 ton 16 cwt 3 qrs 16 lbs (being an increase of 16 cwt 1 lb as compared with the corresponding month of last season. Butterfat received amounted to 4039.0 lbs; overrun I. average test 38.3 per cent.— first 99.43, second .57 per cent.
