On passing in military equipment and clothing the ex-serviceman is ■-ranted a mufti allowance calculated as follows: —For less than six calendar months’ service, nil; on the completion of six months’ service, £10; on the completion of seven months service £l2 10/’ eight months’ service £l5; nine months’ service £l7 10/; ten months service, £2O; eleven months’ service, £99 10/; and on the completion of twelve calendar months’ service £25. An authority is also given on which the ex-serviceman may make application to the Railways Department for a pass to enable him and his wife to travel free on the railways during a period of 28 days.
