MOTHERS’ UNION.
The monthly meeting of St. Peter’s branch of the Mothers’ Union took place at the schoolroom, the President presiding over a good atendance. There were quite a few apologies, owing to the prevalence of influenza. A presentation was n\ade to Mrs W. Evans, who has removed to Christchurch. After business had been transacted the hostess served afternoon tea, and the meeting closed with the pronouncement of the Benediction.
