WEATHER REPORTS
Following are the weather reports for Kaikoura, with the records for July, 1943:
Kaikoura (Mr C. A. Jensen): Rain fell on eight days for a total of 2.02 inches, 1.09 in on the 16th. The fall for the first seven months of the year was 21.05 in. For July 1943, the fall was 6.66 in on nine rain days, 4.23 in on the 12th. The fall for the first seven months of 1943 was 27.34 in.
Grange Road (Air F. Emms): There were nine rain days in July for a fall of 1.99 in, 1.21 in on the 15th. There were nine rain days. The fall to date was 28.41 in on 75 rain days. For, July, 1943, there were eight rain days for a total of 9.08 in, 6.65 on the 12th. For the first seven months of 1943 the fall was 34.38 in on 64 rain days. Lynton Downs (Air E. E. Weavers): There were nine rain days for a fall of 2.62 in, 83 points on the 15th. For July, 1943, the fall was 5.21 in on nine rain days, 3.2.1 in on the sth.
