KAIKOURA V. CLARENCE. Kaikoura met a team from Clarence on Saturday afternoon at Takahanga. Domain, and was victorious bby 33 points to nil. When the teams took up positions it looked as if the Clareime players were about equal to the Kffikoura men, but about ten minutes after play started A. Smith, from a penalty, scored for Kaikoura. A Smith secured the final try, following an intercepted pass by Miles, but again the kick was not taken, and and the end came with the score Kaikoura 33, Clarence nil.
