The opening run of the Kaikoura Motor Sports Chib will be held on Sunday next, the distance of the run not to exceed 20 miles. All motor-cnr and motor-cycle owners are invited to join in the outing. The funeral of the late Mrs M, J, Kerr took place on Friday morning, a large number of residents attending requiem nihss held at the Church of Sacred Heart and the service at the graveside. Many floral tributes were forwarded from friends in and outside the district. The Rev. Father Devlin conducted the burial service. j
