WOMEN’S DIVISION
KAIKOURA BRANCH The monthly meeting of the Women’s Division of the Fanners’ I nion was held in the Masonic Hall on Friday afternoon last, when Mrs I». Hugonin (president) presided over a moderate attendance. Apologies were received for the absence of Mesdames G. G. Newton, T. J. Monk, and If. Mackie. A letter was read concerning the Health Stamp Campaign and it w&s decided to forward £1 towards the fund from the Division. Further aritmgements were made in connection with the street stall to be held next month and an active commit tee was set up. A competition was won by Mis K. (’>. Johnston. Tin* sales table brought in a fair sum. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses—Mesdames T. Lane and R. G. Johnston and a pleasant meeting t erminated.
