SCHOOL SPORTS.

A most enjoyable afternoon was spent at the Kincaid .School grounds on Friday afternoon when a team of boys from the Convent school played the Kincaid school in a seven-a-sidc football match, Convent winning by 15 to nil. 'fries were scored by J. Adair (2), J. Laugesen, B. Burland and G. Stack. Air Hay was referee. A team of basketball players also journeyed to Kincaid to play a match, Kincaid winning by 5 goals to 4. Goals were thrown by Alisses Burland, Smith, and Dooley (2). Aliss C‘. Keehan acted as referee. At the conclusion of the games, both the basketball and football teams were entertained at afternoon tea, which was much appreciated. Aliss Keehan, on behalf of the Convent club thanked the Kincaid club for their generous hospitality. Aliss Al. Dooley suitably replied.
