CHEVIOT PICTURES.
At the Picture Theatre to-morrow night the feature attraction will be “ April Showers,” with Colleen Moore and Kenneth Harlan in the leading roles. Danny O’Rourke, son of Big Tim, the “fighting Irish cop,” who gave his life* in pursuance* of duty, was accepted as his father’s logical successor by his neighbours on the lower East Side. In the* next flat dwelt Lieut. Muldoon and his motherless daughter Maggie*. She and Danny wore very fond of each other. The alley is invaded by Miriam Welton, and then the fun begins. Colleen Moore, the winsome miss, is well known for her characterisation’s of Irish parts, and she should be seen nt her best in “April Showers.” It is a pretty story, full of humour ami romance. Supports include a comedy and a Gazette. The programme is one that should attract a large audience.
