The yarding of fat stock at Wednesday’s market was of exceptional dimensions. The fat cattle section was the biggest for some years; store lines were also numerous. A really good sale of fat sheep ami cattle eventuated. The fat la mb sale was probably a record for the season, prime sorts averaged 1 1<1 per lb. STORE SHEEP. In the store .'beep section the offering v as a fairlv large one for a winter'sale. Some good sorts of wethers were forward and nv. i with good competition. (»ne line of IJOt) sold in two lots, made ■ '.o/<S and .”.0/9, others making up tc 3-1/2, with u good pen of halfbred two tooth, ewes at 42/6. Values were: Good two tooth halfbred ewes 42/6.
