The monthly meeting of the Kaikoura I Co-operative Dairy Company took place ' yesterday afternoon. Present: Messrs J. Davidson ('Chairman), .T. Curtain, G. Smith, J. D. Boyd, E. A. W. Smith, J. The Secretary reported that an officer of the Dairy Division had visited ilm district, and had inspected some of the dairy plants. Although ho found the plants kept as clean us in most districts, improvements could be effected with profit to thp suppliers. The question of differential payment v as held over for the annual meeting. Mr a. S. Boughton tendered his resignation, which was accepted. It was decided to approach the local sawnvdierg with a view to ascertaining whether they were prepared to quote for material for bidder boxes and cheese erates. (’rude notes showed: Whey butter 88, full creamery 92, 92, 91.'. It was decided io pay out 1/2 for butter fat supplied for April. It was decided that all suppliers of cream bo debi rod with any deficiency in connection with carting cream to the factory. The manager was granted permission to take his holidays next month. The .Secretary reported that 501 boxes of butter were in Wellington availing I realisation, and it was decided not' to I dispose of the produce under 1/4} per j lb. the matter being left in the hands I of Messrs d.
